Sobre o Selo
A arte do selo desta emissão foi elaborada com elementos que simbolizam esse que é o sexto signo do zodíaco: Virgem. No canto superior direito, aparece seu ícone, que representa asas celestiais. No topo, duas faixas na cor cinza e uma faixa de cor marrom (que representa o elemento “terra”, ao qual pertencem os nascidos virginianos) delimitam o espaço onde está inserido o nome e o intervalo de tempo governado pelo signo. Como figura central estão a imagem de uma virgem e um feixe de trigo e ao lado, o desenho de representação de sua constelação, a segunda maior vista no céu e a maior do zodíaco, podendo ser reconhecida mais facilmente pela sua estrela Spica, sua estrela alfa. Foi utilizada a técnica de ilustração digital.
Astrologia
“Não me pergunte o que o céu pode fazer por você, mas de que maneira você há de se orientar para engrandecer o Universo com sua presença”, é com essa frase que, ao longo do tempo, encontrei a maneira de indicar às pessoas que a Astrologia não é o estudo de como o céu influencia os seres humanos, mas o conhecimento que nos ajuda a entender o lugar que ocupamos no colossal organismo inteligente que chamamos de Universo. Por meio dessa afirmação deixamos de lado o vício comum de nos eximirmos de nossas responsabilidades, pois, se não o fizéssemos, transferiríamos às virtudes e vícios dos signos do Zodíaco uma nova justificativa para afirmar que não teríamos opção sobre sermos como somos ou agirmos como agimos. Nossos signos são a indicação de qual seria nossa serventia no Universo, o que responde a esse pressentimento nosso de que deve haver um lugar para nós no Universo, chamando a isso poeticamente de “missão”. Não se engane ninguém, porém, de que talvez seria suficiente nascer para cumprir essa “missão”. Não é! É preciso ir ao encontro dela, mesmo que orientados apenas por ideias vagas e imprecisas, mas que o estudo da Astrologia pode esclarecer e ajudar a utilizar. É nessa linha de compreensão que os signos do Zodíaco se apresentarão a nós como verdadeiros portais cósmicos através dos quais se distribuem as potências cosmogônicas que concorrem para a criação, preservação e reintegração da realidade. E, assim também, as pessoas que nascem em cada um dos signos podem encontrar neste parâmetro a identidade e a orientação sobre o lugar que ocupam no Universo. Com certeza, fazendo bom uso da Astrologia, chegaremos, um dia, a pensar em nós mesmos integrados ao Universo, muito diferente do que é agora, em que essa palavra Universo parece se referir sempre a eventos muito distantes e inatingíveis. Nós somos parte integrante do Universo e a Astrologia é o caminho que conduz a entender o que isso significa e a orientar sobre o melhor uso possível dessa condição. Virgem Potencialidades são promessas de múltiplas experiências, Virgem é uma terra fértil e cheia de sementes. A força criativa que se expressa através do signo de Virgem é a garantia de que no mundo das manifestações concretas há a chance de acontecer de tudo, mas em muitos casos também, de tanto que poderia acontecer, a expectativa é uma experiência mais recorrente do que a da realidade concreta em si, e assim acaba que quem é de Virgem sente que não fez nada de tão interessante assim. As promessas vencem, porque já que nada demais acontece, a mente se interessa pelo próximo passo, que será melhor que o anterior. Não importa a realização, importa continuar criando e inventando, pelo menos um modo diferente de fazer o mesmo de todos os dias. A criatividade precisa de alimento, nutre-se de novidades, pelo menos tentar fazer um caminho diferente para chegar ao mesmo lugar de sempre. Virgem é plenipotenciário, e toda potencialidade há de ser trazida à realização para que possa ser compartilhada, senão é apenas uma semente oculta na terra, e a vida vai passando e no signo de Virgem fica a sensação que ainda não acertou no estilo de vida, no trabalho, no relacionamento, porque aos olhos da criatividade, tudo que se manifestou passa a ser um estorvo para o que de novo poderia acontecer. Evidentemente, como não se pode pretender que cada dia seja uma novidade, pois, pelo contrário, o ritmo da rotina impera entre o céu e a terra, o signo de Virgem espera pelas condições certas para, eventualmente, chutar o balde da vida atual e se lançar à aventura de se reinventar, em outro planeta se possível. As potencialidades, porém, não podem ser arrancadas à força de Virgem, são requeridas as condições certas para germinar e se desenvolverem até desabrochar com todo esplendor. Sabemos, por experiência, que no mundo humano as condições certas não são inerentes à rotina, cheia de distorções e contratempos, ficando por isso, em Virgem, esse ar de enfado misturado a uma atenta observação e expectativa de que se deem as condições certas para a explosão criativa. Enquanto essas condições certas não ocorrem, a percepção virginiana se detém em cada detalhe que esteja fora do lugar ou carente de simetria. Virgem é a terra da promessa, das maravilhas imaginadas e que residem em estado de semente nos elementos da realidade em que nos movimentamos e experimentamos ser, aguardando por nós mesmos criarmos as condições certas para que as potencialidades se transformem em obras consumadas.

About the Stamp
This stamp artwork was developed from the elements that symbolize this one that is the sixth zodiac sign: Virgo. In the upper right corner, there is an icon that represents celestial wings. At the top, two gray bands and another band in brown color (representing the element “earth”, the one who a Virgo-born belongsvv to) delimit the space where the name of this zodiac sign and the period of time governed by the sign are inserted. As main subject, a picture of a maiden and a wheat branch, and beside it, a schematic representation of its constellation, the second largest that can be seen in the sky and the largest amongst all the twelve zodiac constellations, being easily recognized by its alpha (main) star, Spica. Digital illustration technique was used.

“Do not ask me what heaven can do for you, but in what way you will orient yourself to magnify the Universe with your presence,” it is with this phrase that, over time, I have found a way to tell people that Astrology is not the study of how heaven influences humans, but the knowledge that helps us understand the place we occupy in the colossal intelligent organism we call the Universe. Through this affirmation we have left aside the common vice of exempting ourselves from our responsibilities, for if we did not, we would transfer to the virtues and vices of the signs of the Zodiac a new justification to affirm that we would have no choice about being as we are or acting as we act. Our zodiac signs are an indication of our usefulness in the Universe, which responds to this presentiment of ours that there must be a place for us in the Universe, calling it poetically “mission.” Make no mistake, however, that perhaps it would be enough to be born to fulfill this “mission.” It is not! It is necessary to go meet it, even if guided only by vague and imprecise ideas, but which the study of Astrology can clarify and help to use. It is in this line of understanding that the signs of the Zodiac will present themselves as true cosmic portals through which the cosmogonic powers that contribute to the creation, preservation and reintegration of reality are distributed. And so, too, the people who are born in each of the zodiac signs can find in this parameter the identity and orientation about the place they occupy in the Universe. Certainly, making good use of Astrology, we will one day think of ourselves integrated into the Universe, very different from what it is now, in which this word Universe always seems to refer to very distant and unattainable events. We are an integral part of the Universe and Astrology is the path that leads to understanding what this means and to guiding us about the best possible use of this condition. Virgo Potentials are promises of multiple experiences, Virgo is a fertile and seedy land. The creative force that expresses itself through the sign of Virgo is the guarantee that in the world of concrete manifestations there is a chance for everything to happen, although in many cases, as much as could happen, expectation is a more recurring experience than the concrete reality itself, and so it turns out that whoever is a Virgo feels that he has done nothing so interesting. Promises are due, because since nothing much happens, the mind is interested in the next step, which will be better than the previous one. No matter the realization, it is important to keep creating and inventing, at least one different way of doing the same everyday. Creativity needs food, it feeds on news, at least trying to take a different path to get the same place as usual. Virgo is plenipotentiary, and all potentiality must be brought to fulfillment so that it can be shared, otherwise it is just a hidden seed on earth, and life goes on and in the sign of Virgo remains the feeling that has not yet got along with the lifestyle, the work, the relationship, because before the eyes of creativity, everything that has been already manifested becomes a hindrance to what could happen again. Of course, as you cannot expect each day to be new, because, on the contrary, the rhythm of routine prevails between heaven and earth, the sign of Virgo waits for the right conditions to eventually throw everything up in the air, setting forth in the adventure of reinventing yourself, on another planet if possible. The potentialities, however, cannot be forcibly taken from Virgo, but the right conditions are required to germinate and develop until they blossom in full splendor. We know from experience that in the human world the right conditions are not inherent in routine, full of distortions and setbacks, keeping in Virgo this atmosphere of boredom mixed with a careful observation and expectation that the right conditions will be given to the creative explosion. As long as these certain conditions do not occur, Virgo perception lingers on every detail that is out of place or lacking symmetry. Virgo is the land of promise, of imagined wonders which reside in a seed state in the elements of reality in which we move and experience being, waiting for ourselves to create the right conditions for the potentialities to become finished works.
