Sobre o Selo
Essa emissão traz o terceiro signo do zodíaco, Gêmeos, e a arte do selo apresenta elementos que simbolizam este signo. No canto superior direito aparece seu ícone, imagem que tem origem na Constelação de Gêmeos, representada pelo algarismo romano “2” que simboliza a dualidade, o físico e o mental. Abaixo, duas faixas na cor cinza delimitam o espaço onde está inserido o nome do signo, tendo a seguir o intervalo de tempo governado pelo signo de Gêmeos. Depois, uma faixa de cor verde representa o elemento “ar”, um dos regentes da natureza que caracterizam a personalidade dos nascidos nesse signo. Ao centro, a imagem de dois jovens, gêmeos, que representam a Constelação de Gemini. Entre eles o esquema das principais estrelas que formam esse agrupamento estelar.

“Não me pergunte o que o céu pode fazer por você, mas de que maneira você há de se orientar para engrandecer o Universo com sua presença”, é com essa frase que, ao longo do tempo, encontrei a maneira de indicar às pessoas que a Astrologia não é o estudo de como o céu influencia os seres humanos, mas o conhecimento que nos ajuda a entender o lugar que ocupamos no colossal organismo inteligente que chamamos de Universo. Por meio dessa afirmação deixamos de lado o vício comum de nos eximirmos de nossas responsabilidades, pois, se não o fizéssemos transferiríamos às virtudes e vícios dos signos do Zodíaco uma nova justificativa para afirmar que não teríamos opção sobre sermos como somos ou agirmos como agimos. Nossos signos são a indicação de qual seria nossa serventia no Universo, o que responde a esse pressentimento nosso de que deve haver um lugar para nós no Universo, chamando a isso poeticamente de “missão”. Não se engane ninguém, porém, de que talvez seria suficiente nascer para cumprir essa “missão”. Não é! É preciso ir ao encontro dela, mesmo que orientados apenas por ideias vagas e imprecisas, mas que o estudo da Astrologia pode esclarecer e ajudar a utilizar. É nessa linha de compreensão que os signos do Zodíaco se apresentarão a nós como verdadeiros portais cósmicos através dos quais se distribuem as potências cosmogônicas que concorrem para a criação, preservação e reintegração da realidade. E, assim também, as pessoas que nascem em cada um dos signos podem encontrar neste parâmetro a identidade e a orientação sobre o lugar que ocupam no Universo. Com certeza, fazendo bom uso da Astrologia, chegaremos, um dia, a pensar em nós mesmos integrados ao Universo, muito diferente do que é agora, em que essa palavra Universo parece se referir sempre a eventos muito distantes e inatingíveis. Nós somos parte integrante do Universo e a Astrologia é o caminho que conduz a entender o que isso significa e a orientar sobre o melhor uso possível dessa condição. Gêmeos Todas as pessoas que nascem no signo de Gêmeos, sem o saber e sem nem mesmo o querer, são partícipes do esforço que o Universo faz para refletir sobre si mesmo. A reflexão é a capacidade de nossa mente fazer uma flexão sobre si mesma e se observar pensando, é disso que nasce a duplicidade, a ambiguidade e, também, a contradição e o questionamento. Mentes que brilham são mentes que se tornam capazes de questionar através das reflexões que fazem, porém, posta a virtude surge também o vício, porque é dessa maravilhosa capacidade de refletir que nasce a mentira. Por isso, neste signo de Gêmeos, todos os dilemas precisam ser resolvidos e olha que não são poucos, não! É como se o signo de Gêmeos fosse um portal que conduziria a uma vida mais ampla e abrangente, mas que para atravessar esse portal fosse necessário resolver todas as contradições existenciais ou, pelo menos, aprender a lidar com elas. Enganam-se, porém, as pessoas que imaginam que por ser este um signo mental, que ele seja desprovido de emoções. É uma lenda imaginar que o intelecto seja oposto à emoção e estão aí todas as pessoas geminianas que não me deixam mentir, porque todas elas, mesmo sendo de polaridade intelectual e de raciocínio lógico, ainda assim vivem o constante puxão de emoções muito nítidas e potentes, porque a todo raciocínio acompanha também uma emoção. Há toda uma multiplicidade de experiências disponíveis para os que nascem sob o signo de Gêmeos, porque já que na mente podemos pensar de tudo, sem restrições, o caminho geminiano disponibiliza as chances de também experimentar tudo que pensarmos. Mas, na prática, temos de decidir se nos envolvemos com isso ou aquilo e, é assim que a vida de toda pessoa geminiana parece ser um tormento de opções e decisões, tormento esse que, na melhor das hipóteses conduz ao esclarecimento, mas que na pior dessas produz escolhas tão opostas e contraditórias entre si que as outras pessoas, dos outros signos, começam a se afastar, porque não percebem haver o mínimo de coerência que qualquer ser humano precisa ter. Lucidez e esclarecimento é o que de melhor este signo traz, não apenas aos seus nativos, mas também a todas as pessoas que com este signo se relacionam. Dúvidas insuportáveis, inação e ambiguidade intolerável são as marcas das pessoas geminianas que não aprenderam a lidar com suas próprias mentes, o que é, aliás, o grande desafio de nossa época. Dominar a mente, pensar o que se deseja pensar, esses são exercícios que começam a ser descobertos e que podem trazer resultados maravilhosos, e que no signo de Gêmeos se encontra a força capaz de fazer com que esses projetos sejam bem-sucedidos.

About the Stamp
This issue carries the third sign of the zodiac, Gemini, and the art of the stamp has elements that symbolize this sign. On the upper right corner appears its icon, image that originates in the Constellation of Gemini, represented by the roman numeral “2” that symbolizes the duality, the physical and the mental. Below, two grey bands delimit the space where the name of the zodiac sign is inserted, having an interval of time governed by the zodiac sign of Gemini. Then a strip of green color represents the element “air,” one of the regents of nature that characterizes a personality of the born in that zodiac sign. On the center, an image of two young twins, representing a constellation of Gemini. Among them the scheme of the main stars that form this stellar grouping.

“Do not ask me what heaven can do for you, but in what way you will orient yourself to magnify the Universe with your presence,” it is with this phrase that, over time, I have found a way to tell people that Astrology is not the study of how heaven influences humans, but the knowledge that helps us understand the place we occupy in the colossal intelligent organism we call the Universe. Through this affirmation we have left aside the common vice of exempting ourselves from our responsibilities, for if we did not, we would transfer to the virtues and vices of the signs of the Zodiac a new justification to affirm that we would have no choice about being as we are or acting as we act. Our zodiac signs are an indication of our usefulness in the Universe, which responds to this presentiment of ours that there must be a place for us in the Universe, calling it poetically “mission.” Make no mistake, however, that perhaps it would be enough to be born to fulfill this “mission.” It is not! It is necessary to go meet it, even if guided only by vague and imprecise ideas, but which the study of Astrology can clarify and help to use. It is in this line of understanding that the signs of the Zodiac will present themselves as true cosmic portals through which the cosmogonic powers that contribute to the creation, preservation and reintegration of reality are distributed. And so, too, the people who are born in each of the zodiac signs can find in this parameter the identity and orientation about the place they occupy in the Universe.
