SOBRE A MINI FOLHA
A minifolha com dez selos, dispostos em duas colunas, apresenta imagens que compõem a paisagem urbana de Brasília, que remetem à sua história e lhe dão identidade própria, tanto como capital da República como Patrimônio Mundial, ao mesmo tempo que a diferenciam de outras urbes por suas peculiaridades. Estão retratados o “foguetinho” do Parque da Cidade D. Sarah Kubitschek, o Museu Nacional de Brasília, com suas linhas futurísticas, os vitrais exclusivos do Santuário Dom Bosco, o Obelisco Militar de Brasília, na entrada do Quartel General do Exército Brasileiro, a Fonte Luminosa em frente à Torre de TV, a praça do Cruzeiro, marco de fé da fundação da Capital, o histórico Hotel Brasília Palace, o primeiro da cidade, o Estádio Nacional Mané Garrincha, as alças de acesso às superquadras, carinhosamente chamadas de “Tesourinhas” e os “Cobogós”, característicos dos primeiros edifícios residenciais. A minifolha apresenta ao fundo a imagem de um pôr do sol, no Eixo Monumental, tendo à esquerda a silhueta do Monumento JK e à direta o logotipo dos 30 anos do título da UNESCO, Patrimônio Cultural da Humanidade. Na margem inferior da folha, os logos da Exposição Brasileira – BRAPEX 2017, Exposição Internacional – Brasília 2017 e da Exposição de Multicolecionismo - Colecionar 2017. Na criação da arte foram utilizadas fotografias e computação gráfica.
ABOUT THE MINI SHEET
The mini sheet with 10 stamps, disposed in two columns, presents images that compose the urban landscape of Brasilia, which remotes to its history and give it its identity, as the Republic Capital as well as a Humanity World Heritage, at the same time differentiating it from other cities for its peculiarities. The stamps portray the “foguetinho” (little rocket) located at the City Park D. Sara Kubitschek; the National Museum of Brasilia, with its futuristic lines; the exclusive stained glass windows of the Dom Bosco Sanctuary; the Military Obelisk, at the entrance of the General Headquarters of the Brazilian Army; the Illuminated Fountain in front of the TV Tower; the Cruzeiro Square, the landmark of faith of the foundation of the Capital; the historic Brasilia Palace Hotel, the city’s first; the National Stadium Mane Garrincha; the access loops to the residential blocks, dearly known as “tesourinhas” (little scissors) and the “Cobogós”, characteristic of the first residential buildings. The souvenir sheet presents on the background the image of a sunset, at Eixo Monumental, on the left, the silhouette of the JK Monument and on the right the logo of the 30th Anniversary of the UNESCO Humanity World Heritage title. On the lower margin of the souvenir sheet, the logos of the BRAPEX 2017 Brazilian Exhibition, the International Exhibition Brasilia 2017 and of the Multi Collection Exhibition – Colecionar 2017. In the art creation, photography and graphic computing techniques were used.

Brasília – A primeira cidade moderna e a mais nova a ser declarada Patrimônio Mundial da Humanidade
Brasília é uma cidade que surpreende. E desde que nasceu, em 21 de abril de 1960. Com apenas 27 anos de vida, por exemplo, recebeu, da UNESCO, o título de Patrimônio Mundial da Humanidade. É a mais nova e a primeira cidade moderna a receber esse título. Idealizada por Juscelino Kubitschek, Brasília é uma obra-prima da arquitetura moderna. Sua concepção é fruto da genialidade do urbanista Lúcio Costa e do arquiteto Oscar Niemeyer. E tem mais, a nossa cidade é repleta de obras de artistas como Athos Bulcão, Burle Marx, Alfredo Ceschiatti, Marianne Peretti, Bruno Giorgio, entre outros, mais atuais, como Darlan Rosa e Ralfe Braga, que fazem daqui um lugar sem igual no mundo E em 2017, o feito histórico de ser considerada Patrimônio Mundial da Humanidade está completando 30 anos. Isso é, por si só, motivo para se comemorar. E nada melhor que essa parceria com os Correios e a Exposição Colecionar 2017 para eternizar esta data, registrada nesses 10 selos. Com esses selos postais, cada carta vai levar a beleza de nossa cidade para os quatro cantos do Brasil. Aliás, do Brasil apenas não. A gente deseja que eles sejam enviados para os cinco continentes. Brasilia – The first modern city and the latest to be declared Humanity World Heritage
Brasilia is a city that surprises. And since it was born, on April 21st 1960. For example, when it was only 27 years old, it was awarded, by UNESCO, the title of Humanity World Heritage. It is the latest and the first modern city to receive such title. Idealized by Juscelino Kubittschek, Brasilia is a work of art of modern architecture. Its conception is the outcome of the geniality of urbanist Lucio Costa and of architect Oscar Niemeyer. And there’s more, our city is filled with artwork by artists such Athos Bulcao, Burle Marx, Alfredo Ceschiatti, Marianne Peretti, Bruno Giorgio, among others, more recent, such as Darlan Rosa e Ralfe Braga, which make this place a one of a kind in the world. And in 2017, the historic fact of being considered Humanity World Heritage completes 30 years. That is, by itself, a reason to celebrate. And nothing better than this partnership with the Brazilian Post and the Colecionar Exposition 2017 to perpetuate this date, registered in these 10 stamps. With these postal stamps, each letter will carry the beauty of our city to all corners of Brazil. Actually, not only Brazil. We wish it will be sent to all continents. And that these images, with the lines, the curves and, of course, the famous Brasilia sky, be an invitation to people around the world to come visit one of the most surprising cities in history.
